It's mid December when i was asked "What could we do to celebrate the 100th year anniversary of Morris & Spottiswood" and for some reason a 100 day running challenge, with a minimum of 5K per day popped in to my head and the seed was sown. Then i thought why not go the whole hog and enter the Leeds Marathon where we have a Livingston Office, timing was almost perfect so the challenge was born!
So, the challenge started on January 1st 2025...
Around this time, two friends of mine were experiencing life changing times in their Families.
Young Millie Blair was battling bone cancer, going through chemotherapy while having her left leg amputated, with still more obstacles to overcome. You may have seen her on TV recently leading out Chelsea in the woman's League Cup final. Young Lives Vs Cancer has been a charity that has offered great support to Millie and her family, they would benefit greatly from any funds we are able to raise
Young Joss Dowds recently diagnosed with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, a life changing condition which currently has no cure. Which will change his and his families life for ever. MDUK is their best chance of finding a cure for the awful condition
I'll finish my 100 days on the 10th of April with the Marathon a further month down the line on 11th of May.
Lets see if we can make a difference to these and other young peoples lives.
Any donation, big or small, would mean the world to me and help these amazing charities. Thank you so much for your support!
