*** UPDATED UPDATED TARGET! ***You guys are truly amazing, on the eve of the London to Brighton we’ve raised almost £17000. We are truly humbled, staggered and extremely thankful to all your generosity!
Having passed our £15000 stretch target, we’ve decided to go for it one last time and set ourselves a revised target of £20000 to be raised for our two charities. We think we can do it keep an eye on fb.com/ballstoparkinsons we will keep posting regular updates on progress in the London to Brighton and the Beach Ball tomorrow!!!
Good luck B2P team.
*** UPDATED TARGET ***We just wanted to thank all our supporters for their huge generosity and for making it possible to reach our initial fundraising target of £10,000.
At the start of the Balls to Parkinson's journey we thought this might be possible, but we would be happy if we reached anywhere near this total. Well, with your amazing support and only a few days until our final fundraising event, we have already surpassed this raising over £13,000 to be shared by our two charities, Parkinson's UK and The Oddballs Foundation.
The London to Brighton Ride and Brighton Beach Ball this Sunday 14th September, are set to provide a fitting finale to what has been an amazing summer of fundraising. With this in mind wanted you to know that we are setting our sights higher and increasing our fundraising target to £15,000. This would be a fantastic achievement and a great way to end our campaign. We will let you know how we do!
Thankyou so much again!

We are "Balls to Parkinson’s", a passionate fundraising team supporting two incredible charities: The OddBalls Foundation and Parkinson’s UK. Both organizations are close to our hearts, as they raise awareness, fund vital research, and provide essential support for people affected by life-changing conditions that have deeply impacted our friends and family.
This year we are running a number of events over the summer, culminating with a team entry to the London to Brighton Cycle Ride on 14th September. You can read more about all our fundraising events on our website: http://ballstoparkinsons.co.uk
The OddBalls Foundation - https://theoddballsfoundation.comThe OddBalls Foundation is the UK’s leading charity dedicated to raising awareness of Testicular Cancer—the most common cancer in men aged 15-49. Every year, around 2,400 men in the UK are diagnosed with this disease, which means more than six new cases every day. The good news? When detected early, testicular cancer is one of the most curable cancers.
Through education, awareness campaigns, and breaking down stigma, The OddBalls Foundation encourages men to check themselves regularly—empowering them to catch any potential issues early and seek help when needed.
Parkinson’s UK - https://www.parkinsons.org.ukFor over 50 years, Parkinson’s UK has been at the forefront of the fight against Parkinson’s disease. The charity funds ground-breaking research, campaigns for better healthcare, and provides life-changing support services to those affected by this progressive neurological condition.
Bringing together families, volunteers, campaigners, fundraisers, scientists, and healthcare professionals, Parkinson’s UK is driven by a powerful mission: to improve life for everyone living with Parkinson’s and ultimately find a cure.
