St Michael's on Wyre Tennis Club is planning an epic 24-hour Tennis-athon!
Four of the club’s members—John Adamson, Tom Higgs, Dan Hudson, and Jonathan Smith—will each be playing tennis for a full 24 hours!
The marathon challenge will begin at 4 pm on Saturday, 3rd May, with the club inviting others to join in—whether to play with, against, or alongside them for a shorter period (e.g., one-hour blocks or multiples thereof).
As this is a fundraising event, all participants will be asked to either make a donation or raise sponsorship among their friends, colleagues, and family. So, challenge yourself to take part for as many hours as you can!
This event is open to both members and non-members, including adults and children of all abilities. Simply put—if you enjoy tennis, we want you to join us!
All funds raised will be split evenly between 3 charities- Diabetes UK- Children’s Burns Foundation, - North West Children’s Support Group
as well as St Michael's Tennis Club. The money raised for the club will help fund the loan repayments for our new floodlights.
