We are super proud to be able to host another charity event here at Real Time - fundraising for Pancreatic Cancer UK & Ashgate Hospice.

Here’s a message from the organisers:

Paul Walton was the best Husband, Dad and Grandad a family could ask for. On the 17th of March he was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer which had already spread to most of his major organs. After an heroic battle, he died peacefully three months later. A number of our wider friends and family have also been affected by pancreatic cancer so this event is for them too. We are raising money, through this page and also a musical event at Real Time Music in Chesterfield on the 11th of April, for both Ashgate Hospice and Pancreatic Cancer UK. Pancreatic cancer is often diagnosed late and has only a 30% survival rate for 1 year after diagnosis. The money we raise helps with research into pancreatic cancer and the care of the patients at Ashgate Hospice.
