Three Peaks in 24hrs

VolkerGround Engineering, with close friends and partners, are completing the three peaks challenge within 24hrs across Thursday 26th and Friday 27th June. The event will take place at 6am on Thursday 26th June. The challenge will start at Ben Nevis, the 1345m climb will take approximately 5.5hours. Our three drivers will then complete a 5.5hr drive to Scaffel Pike, at around 6pm the 978m hike will commence taking approximately 4hrs. A 4.5 hour journey will then arrive at the final climb Snowdon at 1085m, a 4.5hr climb will then complete the challenge within 24hrs.
A charity has been chosen for each peak completed. Each charity is close to the work we do and people we love. The three chosen charities are; Lighthouse Club - Focus on emotional, physical and financial wellbeing of construction workforce and their families Prostate Cancer Research UK - Funding ground breaking research, drive improvements in treatment, and fight injustice in care. Rainbow Trust - Helping Families with a Child Aged 0-18 Years With a Life-Threatening or Terminal Illness.
