Mr Joyce Park Run/Marathon Challenge

In the spring of 2025 I will be running the Paris and Rob Burrow Marathon in support of the Carr Manor Community School House Charities. These are all charities that are close to my heart and do great work in and around Leeds.

These include St. Gemma's Hospice, St. George's Crypt, Leeds North and West Foodbank and Leeds Children's Hospital.

In support of this challenge some of our pupils will also be taking part in a series of park runs over the next few months. They will be earning house points for each park run they complete, whilst also raising awareness for their house charity by wearing tops provided by each of these.

We don’t think anyone in our community should have to face going hungry. That’s why we provide three days’ nutritionally balanced emergency food and support to local people who are referred to us in crisis. We are part of a nationwide network of foodbanks, supported by The Trussell Trust, working to combat poverty and hunger across the UK.
