Read Construction Charity Fundraising 2023 (Company)
Following nominations from our employees, we are delighted to announce that are 2023 charities will be Nightingale House Hospice and the Welsh Air Ambulance Charitable Trust.
Read continue to have a close relationship with Nightingale House Hospice, and it will be a delight to support this local charity once again. NHH provide specialist palliative care services, completely free of charge to patients and their families across North Wales.
The Welsh Air Ambulance charity is a vital service particularly for our rural communities across the region, with their 4 helicopters attending over 2,500 missions every year. Every year they need to raise £8million in order to continue their lifesaving work.

Our Welsh 3000’s team were up bright and early this morning to start the challenge, will see them climb all 15 peaks over 3000ft in Wales, within 24hours!

Challenge Rescheduled
Welsh 3000s Challenge Update:
Following our initial attempt at the challenge being cancelled, our team are now looking to re-attempt the challenge on the weekend of 28th-29th July, subject to weather conditions on the day.
We would like to thank everyone for the continued donations, which are going to two fantastic charities - Nightingale House Hospice and Wales Air Ambulance Charity.

3000s Training Underway
Our 3000s team have been busy training in preparation for the challenge in June. Their recent training session started the route from Abergwyngregyn - with the group walking 13 miles and 4000' elevation over 6.5 hours.
