We are a group of friends running the Brighton Marathon for the superheroes that don't come with capes. Inspired by a little superhero who has faced some very big challenges with an amazing amount of resilience and humour, we are running to raise money for the wonderful charities that have looked after her and her family.

Our nominated charities are The Sick Children's Trust (https://www.sickchildrenstrust.org) Little Princess Trust (https://www.littleprincesses.org.uk) Beads of Courage UK (https://beadsofcourageuk.org) and Spread a Smile (https://spreadasmile.org) These charities provide invaluable support and entertainment so children can be children, making serious childhood illness less frightening for them, as well as funding research into these illnesses.

We have chosen this challenge to show our love and raise funds so that the charities and their unsung heroes are there to support other sick children and their families.
