Starting at 9am on Thursday 7th November, Kromek employees, led by Stefan Knowles and Tim Brown, will embark on a cycling venture of 1000K, right from the Kromek boardroom.

Powering on through the night on their exercise bikes, they will aim to finish around midday on Friday 8th November.

This bike ride is not just an excuse for these cycling fanatics to skive off work: we will be raising money to donate to Pancreatic Cancer UK and the British Heart Foundation in memory of our colleagues Elna and Taz, who we have lost this year.

The 1000k represents travelling from Delft, Netherlands, where Elna lived with her family before coming to the UK, then to Oxford UK, where Taz worked for 9 years before joining Kromek, and finally, up to the Kromek HQ, right here in Sedgefield.
