Bluewater Employee Biking, Hiking & Kayaking Charity Challenge
On 11th October the Bluewater team will be undertaking a biking, hiking and kayaking challenge in the Lake District, completing a testing circuit around Coniston Water. We will be winding into the Grizedale Forest on a 10-mile bike ride, hiking the Old Man of Coniston, the highest point in the Furness Fells at 803m, and finishing with a kayaking circuit of Coniston Water. Our challenge is to complete all three legs in 6 hours.
We will be doing this in aid of three charities, all nominated by Bluewater team members:
Save the Children- Helping millions of children stay safe, healthy, and learning. https://www.savethechildren.org.uk/
Sand Dams Worldwide - Empowering dryland communities to transform their own lives and land. Giving people access to clean water so they can take their future into their own hands, live sustainably, and work their way out of poverty with dignity. https://www.sanddamsworldwide.org.uk/
Woking Tigers – A community sports club providing youth football, cricket and other sporting activities in the Woking area and coached by one of the Bluewater team
Please support the Bluewater team and these great causes by making a donation. The total amount fundraised will be match funded by Bluewater up to £10k.
Thank you!
