Hello,My name is Steve and I am a 57 year old military veteran who served with 1st The Queen's Dragoon Guards ( Q.D.G) in H.M Forces. This May I am planning on treking Glyndwr's Way in the heart of Wales. This is one of the U.K's National trails and is 135 miles in total which I am aiming to do in 9 days. This will be done totally self supported.
I am trekking this route for two charities :
Walking with the Wounded :Who empower veterans by reigniting their sense of purpose, enabling them to make a positive contribution to their communities and lead independent lives. QDG Regimental Benevolent Fund: Who supports serving and veteran members and the families of 1st The Queen's Dragoon Guards.
Both charities have helped me in difficult times both financially, physically and mentally and I now wish to give something back to them for the help they have given me and to help others.
Please donate to help these worthwhile causes and support our serving and veteran H.M Forces.
