Gatwick Airport Fire and Rescue Service are carrying out a stair climb in full fire fighting kit and breathing apparatus. We will be ascending and descending the stairs in the departure hall 33 times, due to the number of stairs this will simulate 55 normal floors of a building (combined distance of 110 floors when counting ascending and descending). We are raising funds to support Gatwick Airport Limited's charity partner KSS Air Ambulance and The Fire fighters charity.
