On Saturday, 02 November 2024, I’ll be taking part in a very special event—the Run the Runway charity run at Glasgow Prestwick Airport. This isn’t just any run; it’s an opportunity to make a real difference in the fight against cancer, a cause that means so much to me and my family.

Cancer is a disease that has touched so many of us. Whether we’ve faced it ourselves, watched a loved one battle it, or supported friends through their own struggles, it’s something we all know too well. For me, this cause is deeply personal. Our family has been directly affected by cancer, and we know firsthand how important it is to have support, care, and hope during such difficult times.

That’s why this event is so important to me. We’re raising funds for three incredible cancer-related charities—The Beatson, Doing it for Daniel Foundation, and Ayrshire Hospice. These organisations are doing life-changing work in cancer research, patient care, and providing support to those who need it most.
