The Great Walk is an annual event started in 2019, where our Unilever employees come together by walking a full or half marathon and raising money for charity.
Over the past four years we have seen over 800 employees come together and raise over £200,000+ for The Great Walk's charity partners. This event is very close to my heart, set up in 2019 in memory of our dear friend Renee Metroka. My husband, Dave, was Renee's manager at Unilever when she sadly lost her fight with cancer in January 2018. This incredible event was started in her memory and has since gone on to raise funds for several charities, in memory of many other dear colleagues.
In 2024, I will be walking again to raise money for our chosen charities this year Maggie's and SERV Surrey & London!
