Wings of Remembrance: Freefalling for the fallen

This significant charity event will honour the 457 brave men and women who lost their lives while serving in Afghanistan between 2001 and 2021.

In a visually inspiring and impactful tribute, a group of professional and elite skydivers will complete a tandem or solo skydive for every individual who made the ultimate sacrifice over a 12-hour period.

This event is scheduled to take place on the weekend of August 16th and 17th at Skydive Hibaldstow, located near Hull. We are extending invitations to the families of the fallen, as well as to the public, to join us for this two-day celebration.

We are committed to supporting three worthy charities that provide vital assistance to military personnel and their families: Help for Heroes, The Nimsdai Foundation, and Scotty’s Little Soldiers. Proceeds from this event will go towards supporting their invaluable work.

We firmly believe that by coming together as a community, we can create a lasting tribute to those who made the ultimate sacrifice and ensure that their memory lives on.

When a parent dies, the impact on their child is significant. When that parent served in the Armed Forces, the impact is even greater with children often feeling they’ve lost their connection to the military community. Scotty’s Little Soldiers prevents that. Together, we can ensure the very best bereavement support remains available.
