On Sunday 25th August 2024, at Shepshed Dynamo FC, Myself & Gary Andrews shall be running a Charity Football Match in Memory of Louie Palmieri & Steve Andrews with all money raised in support of both The Brain Tumour Charity & The British Heart Foundation.
Max's Story - In March 2023, My Best Friend 'Louie Palmieri' sadly passed away to an undetected Brain Tumour at just the age of 18. Louie fell suddenly ill and was rushed to hospital where he tragically passed away despite amazing care from the doctors & nurses. Losing that one person who you have done everything with your whole life, your 'soulmate' at such a young age is something you can never imagine happening or prepare yourself for. In October 2023, I ran the Manchester Half Marathon with My good friend Harry Taylor raising over £4000 for the Brain Tumour Charity, The love, affection & support I felt from everyone throughout this time was truly special and filled me with immense pride, whether you shared my post, donated or supported me on the day, it meant the absolute world to me and gave me a moment I will never forget. Me and Louie were both 'Football Mad' despite supporting rival teams! , football was a hot topic in all our conversations. I Have to give a massive thanks to Gary for asking me to take part in this event with him in memory of Two amazing people. The Key message I have to everyone especially those of a younger age is, that you get 1 shot at this thing called 'life', live it to the fullest.
Gary's Story - Having lost my Dad to Heart Disease in February 2023 Me and my Family wanted to keep his memory alive by playing a Charity Football Match to raise Vital Funds for the British Heart Foundation. The first game was such a success that me and Max have decided to join forces for two great charities, Please give what you can , anything is appreciated and we can't wait to see you all at Shepshed Dynamo on the 25th August.
