Following the incredible success of our charity cycle to Cambridge in 2023, riders from John Sisk are embarking on another 2 day cycle journey in the hope of raising money for 2 inspiring charities. These are 'the new normal' and 'action for pulmonary fibrosis' further information can be found below.
In 2023 we raised just over £10,000, an incredible number and we are sure it has made a real difference.
This year, we are going bigger, further and have aspirations that our fundraising will follow suit! Taking place over 2 days the riders from Sisk will be embarking on a 2 leg journey from Reading to Bath, resulting in a cumulative 145 miles (244km) and 6900ft (1800m) of climbing!

TNN - 'The New Normal' Charity was founded after two strangers bonded over the loss of their dads. Meeting in a barbershop in London in 2015, Jack and Ben shared a deep connection through their lived experience. Having both lost their dads to cancer, they were able to find a support in the commonality of their loss, which they decided they wanted to do with more people.
In 2018 they launched the first Good Grief meeting, a space for adults to come together and speak openly about their grief, without judgement or expectation. Since that first meeting TNN Charity has gone on to provide over 1100 peer support meetings, to 10,000 participants from over 30 countries around the world. Their mission is simple, to provide free bereavement support to all people.

APF - 'Action for Pulmonary Fibrosis' We support patients and families and raise awareness of pulmonary fibrosis through campaigning, fundraising and education.
Pulmonary fibrosis (PF) affects around 70,000 people in the UK. Yet still, many people have never heard of this devastating disease.
There is no known cure for the disease and the average life expectancy of patients with pulmonary fibrosis is three to five years after diagnosis. With your support,
we are working to change this.
