On 7th March two artists, Matt Sherratt from Cheshire and Richard Rhodes from the USA set off to cycle across India. One year ago they hatched a plan to break their isolation in their studios and undertake a massive journey cycling across the North of India. Used to working alone they are heading to one of the most populated countries in the world - India. Their goal is to cycle from Ahmedabad to Varanasi - an epic 1643km ride. They are doing so taking everything they need on their bikes and without backup. They will need their wits about them to avoid bullock carts, tuk tuks and the infamous Indian lorry drivers. Cycling to raise money for Alder Hey Children's hospital and Action Aid, which runs projects across the global south including India they are hoping you will support them and consider donating to these two great charities.
