Will & Danny's London Marathon Fundraiser

We are both running the London Marathon for two charities that are very close to our hearts.

The Darby Rimmer MND Foundation and the CJD Support Network UK MND and CJD are both neurodegenerative diseases with no cure and we want to help raise awareness and bang that drum 🥁

We are running in memory of Rick Hill who at the age of 53 tragically lost his life to sCJD.
Rick was a beacon of strength and a source of laughter and a constant reminder to embrace the beauty of life!

Marcus and Lou we are running for you and all of the MND family who are working tirelessly to keep this at the forefront of everyone's minds and we are so proud of you both.

We are both big blokes and this is proving a challenge but we are determined to do it.🏃🏼‍♂️🏃🏼‍♂️

Footballer Stephen Darby and close friend and British Forces Veteran Chris Rimmer have partnered together to launch the Darby Rimmer MND Foundation. Stephen and Chris both have Motor Neurone Disease, their aim is to create awareness of MND, to fund and assist research into the illness with the quest of finding a cure for the illness, to raise funds and offer grants to those with MND.

The CJD Support Network was set up in 1995 by relatives of people who have died with CJD, and is the only UK charity dedicated to the disease. Our mission is to help ensure that appropriate practical and emotional support is available for all strains of CJD in the UK, and those at increased risk of CJD.
