Hi everyone just a quick message Jack is doing challanges from March - September everything is for the childrens hospitals games for weans campaign where they’re trying to update the computers in the hospital. Additionally as jack wanted to do the zip line over the Clyde the money will be split with CHAS who for over thirty years has been offering a full family support service for babies, children and young people with life-shortening conditions.
Jack has issues with his bowels which if it wasn’t for the childrens hospital he wouldn’t be able to function the way he does. Most recently he’s started biofeedback therapy. He’s had operations and stays in the hospital sometimes it can be weeks at a time it seems something so trivial as a computer but it but wee things make a difference especially when it helps take their mind off where they are. This is even more crucial for the children who are in long term.
The challenges he has planned are as followed:
March - 5k run (this actually turned out to be 6k 🫣) ✅April - hill walk - Ben Ann - nailed it ✅May - footy tournament birthday - £500 given to Childrens hospital ✅June - Lidl mudder July - cycle Glasgow - Loch Lomond August - 1 mile in Loch Lomond swimSept - zip line over the Clyde
Jack has specifically said he doesn’t want any birthday presents this year as “he’s got enough” so for the next 7 months his aim is to raise £1000 for the charities.
We will keep you all posted on every event.
Thank you In advance ❤️
