10kms in each of the 55 English cities within 6 months.

I love a physical challenge and have been looking for something to raise money for some really worthy causes and so on a 12 mile run one cold January morning, Cities in 6 was born!

I have a full time time job as well as being a Mum and wife, so this will not only be a physical test, but a balancing one. However I will be undertaking 18 legs over 6 months covering all the cities in England. At times this will mean 3-4 10kms in one weekend, a cumulative distance I have not completed up to this point.

Ultimately this is all about raising money for two incredible charities, Cancer Research UK and RNIB. Several people close to me have either battled or are currently battling cancer and it's so important to invest in how we tackle it, to prevent the devastating impacts it can have on people and their loved ones. Cancer Research UK are a leading charity that fund scientists, doctors and nurses to help beat cancer sooner.

RNIB, the Royal National Institute of Blind People, is the UK's leading sight loss charity. They offer practical and emotional support to blind and partially sighted people, their families and carers. They raise awareness of the experiences of blind and partially sighted people and campaign for change to make our society more accessible for all. They want to change our world so there are no barriers to people with sight loss and I am excited to help contribute to this.

This is going to be the biggest challenge I have ever undertaken and I need all your help and support to achieve this, so please give as little or as much as you can!
