Swimarathon
2099
We are a group of 9 family and friends who, with varying abilities, have joined together to support 2 amazing charities this year.
In a time where terminal illnesses seem to be more prevalent, we all know someone or have personally experienced the outstanding care and attention Strathcarron provide to both patients requiring palliative and end of life care, in addition to the wonderful support they provide to families. The vital funds that we raise will enable Strathcarron to continue to provide this care, love and support to those in need.
With Niamh having undergone treatment for Hodgkins Lymphoma we are also fund raising for another charity, who support families of those who have or are undergoing cancer treatment. Callum’s Cabin provides flats in Glasgow close to cancer treatment centres which allow families from across the country to stay together in welcoming, home-from-home surroundings during extended periods of treatment. In addition they have holiday accommodation to allow some family time making irreplaceable memories and recharge their batteries for what may lie ahead.
Both are truly deserving of the community support they receive which will be the driving force behind us completing our Swimarathon. Please please please donate, however big or small. Every penny counts.
Thank you Allison, Murray, Maria, Gracie, Vicki, Niamh, Stacey, Caroline & Charlie x
