The “Run For Sport 24” Challenge

On Tuesday 2nd April 2024, I will be running to 24 sports venues in 24 hours across London. I am hoping to raise £24,000+ for Sport In Mind.

The aim of this challenge is to raise awareness for mental health and the importance of sport and physical activity for mental health - from young children to adults.

For many people (including myself), exercise is therapy. Whether it be taking part in a sport, running, cycling, swimming or simply going for a walk; movement is medicine. The mental benefits of physical activity are often downplayed and it’s about time physical activity is at the forefront of mental health treatment.

The money raised from the challenge will go towards an amazing charity - Sport In Mind.

Sport In Mind are the UK’s leading sport mental health charity and use sport and physical activity as a means of improving the lives and mental health of both young people and adults. So far they have supported 20,000 people through sport and physical activity.
