Andrew Hookway Trophy - 33FC v 33FC XI
2032
On Saturday 4th May 2024. 33FC are taking on a 33FC XI in the inaugural Andrew Hookway Trophy @ Marine Travel Arena, home of Northern Premier League side Marine A.F.C. Not only are we celebrating our late founder and chairman Andrew, but we will be raising money for two amazing charities. These being Crohn's & Colitis UK and Teenage Cancer Trust.
I have my own story when it comes to Crohn's Disease and how I nearly passed away last year. On August 29th 2022. I was rushed into Salford Royal needing emergency surgery due to a perforated bowel which was down to undiagnosed Crohn's Disease. I was very lucky my Mum rang the ambulance when she did otherwise I would not be typing this message. Two surgeries and a Ileostomy later I was on road to recovery. One year later, i'm in a position where i'm back working at Bolton Wanderers in the Community, playing football, back on media duties at 33FC and most importantly loving life.
I will be forever grateful to Salford Royal, the doctors & nurses, surgeons, stoma team for saving my life and giving me a new lease of one.
Our other charity we are raising money for is Teenage Cancer Trust. They are truly are an amazing charity. Supporting young people in their time of need. They provide specialist nursing care and are the UK only charity dedicated to meeting this vital need – so no young person faces cancer alone.
They are for me heroes for the work they do, no one nevermind a young person should never have to hear the words 'you have cancer' and it's incredible the way they look after the people going through this.
If you would like to learn more about Teenage Cancer Trust & Crohn's & Colitis UK, I've linked them both below

Any support, sharing or donations would be absolutely incredible.
Thank You, Jordan
