This year, the WOSIF Quiz is raising funds in aid of Action on Asbestos.
As many of you will know, Craig Morrison, was sadly diagnosed with Mesothelioma last year. Mesothelioma is an incurable disease almost always associated with exposure to asbestos. Affecting the lining of the lungs, mesothelioma can remain dormant within the body with no symptoms for decades.
Following his diagnosis, Craig was provided with a dedicated nurse who has provides Craig with medical, emotional, and practical support. Whilst Craig's dedicated nurse works within the NHS, their role is funded by Action on Asbestos (formerly Clydeside Action on Asbestos).
Action on Asbestos provide services free of charge to anyone in Scotland diagnosed with an asbestos related disease, supporting the individual and their family; however, they are entirely reliant on donations.
Please give generously and support this amazing charity which has been key in supporting Craig in his battle against the disease. The Prize Draw will be made at 9.30pm with details of the prizes to be announced on the night.
A huge thank you to Addleshaw Goddard who have agreed to match fundraising up to £2,000!
The entry to the Heads and Tails at the start of the evening is £10 to enter and each raffle ticket is £10.
We look forward to seeing you at the Marriott Hotel on 19 March!
