We are running the London Marathon 2026 for Young Lives vs Cancer - the UK's leading charity supporting children and young people with cancer and their families.
As part of our fundraising, we have been kindly gifted a 25/26 Manchester City Football Shirt Signed by Joško Gvardiol by the club, so will be raffling this off to raise funds to support this great cause. We are extremely grateful to Manchester City Football Club for their generosity and support, and also thank you to everyone who buys a ticket to support this cause!
Every day in the UK, 12 children and young people hear the devastating words: ‘You have cancer.’
In that moment, life changes instantly. Hospital visits replace football or dance classes. Treatment means missing school, friends, and just being a kid. Families face overwhelming emotional and financial strain – often travelling miles from home to reach specialist treatment centres.
But that’s where Young Lives vs Cancer steps in – with a hand outstretched, saying: ‘You’re not in this alone.’
They’re the only UK charity with specialist social workers who support families from diagnosis, through treatment, and beyond – including those facing the unimaginable loss of their child.
