Hi,
My name is Bohdi and I’m 8 years old. I love a challenge, and even more than that, I love raising money for charities that mean a lot to me and my family.
This year, I’m taking on my biggest challenge yet: running 100 miles around 100 football clubs — one mile for each club. It’s going to take me a long time to complete, so I really hope you can support and follow me on this journey throughout the year.
I LOVE football. I love playing it, watching it, supporting it, and enjoyment football brings to people. I also absolutely adore my big brothers, Cohen and Indie. They both have Cockayne Syndrome, a life-limiting condition. They can’t walk and find it hard to communicate, and over time they will lose their sight and hearing — but to me, they’re still my daft, amazing brothers. We argue, laugh, play football together, and go on adventures. I’m happiest when I’m watching my favourite team, Middlesbrough, with my brothers by my side.
Over the years, many incredible charities have supported my brothers and our family. Amy & Friends are very close to our hearts — they help us every day and have created a wonderful community of families affected by Cockayne Syndrome. The MFC Foundation supported my family before I was even born by helping create an accessible garden so my brothers and I can play football together every day. The Teesside Family Foundation helped us raise money for Cohen’s electric wheelchair, giving him the freedom to explore the beach, woods, and all kinds of different terrain independently.
As a family, we’ve received so much kindness and support when we needed it most, and we always try to give something back. That’s why this challenge means so much to me.
👉 If you can donate, no matter how small, you’ll be helping families like mine and supporting charities that truly change lives.👉 If you can’t donate, please share my challenge and help spread the word.
Thank you so much for supporting me — 100 miles is a long way, but with your help, I know I can do it.
