Muddy Beats: Sunset Session for Whizz-Kidz
Join us at Muddy Beach, Penryn, for Muddy Beats: Sunset Session — a one-night charity celebration of disco, house, and good vibes on the beautiful Cornish creekside 🌅🎶 As the sun sets over Penryn River, we’ll turn up the music and the energy for an unforgettable evening in support of Whizz-Kidz, the UK charity that empowers young wheelchair users to live more independent and active lives. Hosted by the Cornish Duo, two local runners taking on the 2026 TCS London Marathon to raise vital funds for Whizz-Kidz, the night features Adrian Towler on the decks, spinning the ultimate mix of disco and house classics. Expect great music, great company, and that unmistakable Cornish community spirit. We’ll also be hosting a charity raffle on the night, with some brilliant prizes generously donated by local businesses — all in support of Whizz-Kidz. Dress to impress: cocktail attire encouraged for a touch of sunset glamour on the Cornish creekside. Guests will be welcomed with a complimentary drink on arrival — fizz or a non-alcoholic option — along with a Cornish pasty during the evening. The Muddy Beach bar will also be open throughout the night, so you can enjoy drinks while supporting a brilliant local business that has generously donated the venue to help our Whizz-Kidz campaign. With raffles, local sponsors, and every ticket sale helping to make a difference, this is more than just a night out — it’s a chance to dance, donate, and support a brilliant cause. Muddy Beats: Sunset Session – music, magic, and meaning by the water’s edge. All proceeds go directly to Whizz-Kidz. 💛 Whizz Kidz is the UK's leading charity supporting young wheelchair users up to 25 years old. More than 75,000 young people in the UK need a wheelchair to be mobile. Most have no access to a wheelchair that’s right for them, leaving them at risk of social isolation, poor mental health and physical injury. Whizz Kidz provide the right equipment, skills and confidence young wheelchair users need to go further, whilst campaigning for a more open and accessible society. Every donation will get Whizz Kidz closer to their vision of a society in which every young wheelchair user is mobile, enabled and included.
