NGJS Rocket Run

This is our once a year whole school fundraising event to raise money for the PTA and for a chosen charity - this year Sheffield Children's Hospital Charity's Pride of Yorkshire campaign.

Children will have a set time to complete a course within the school grounds and run, walk or hop round as many times as they can within their allotted time proudly wearing their bright colours and sparkles! They will get a stamp for each lap they complete and will be asking their wonderful friends and family to sponsor them for their efforts. The total amount of laps will be calculated and the school house with the most laps travelled will be the winners!!

We would be delighted if you would consider sponsoring your child’s participation in this event. Sponsorship forms have been sent home and sponsorship can be made in cash or directly to this site.

Funds raised from this event will be split equally between funding projects within school via "Friends of Nether Green" and sponsoring a Lion Cub as part of Sheffield Children's Hospitals Pride of Yorkshire campaign. This local charity helps the amazing Sheffield Children's provide first class care to children and young people in our city and beyond. Many of us will have reason to feel grateful that we have such a wonderful hospital in our city and this is the chance for the children to give something back and be part of something very special at the same time.

So dust off those trainers, get your rocket feet at the ready and do the Rocket Run!!!!!
