Help Us Bring Hope, Comfort, and Joy to Leicester’s Most VulnerableInclusion Healthcare (https://www.inclusionhealthcare.co.uk/about/) is a not-for-profit organisation providing vital GP and support services to some of the most marginalised people in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland— including asylum seekers and those experiencing homelessness. Our community fund (separate from NHS funding) helps us respond to urgent needs that can’t wait. Over the years, we’ve used it to:• Buy a steriliser for a new mum with no means to get one• Provide incontinence pads for someone unable to afford them• Supply high-factor sun cream for families during dangerous heatwaves• Give rough sleepers rescue packs in freezing winters• Offer emergency clothing to victims of abuseSadly, during COVID, the fund was hit hard — more people needed help, but less money was coming in.This year, a team from Inclusion Healthcare (and some amazing friends) will be running the Run Leicester 10km to boost the fund. Our first goal is to raise enough to give Christmas holiday activity packs to primary school-aged asylum-seeking children. If we raise more, we’ll extend the joy to secondary school children and also provide winter packs for the homeless — and keep going from there!Every donation, big or small, will help us meet someone’s most urgent need when they have nowhere else to turn.💙 Please support our runners and help us bring warmth, dignity, and hope to those who need it most.
