Abingdon will be completing its biennial sponsored walk on Tuesday 23 September 2025. The whole School, including teachers, will be taking part in the event to raise money through sponsorship for this year’s chosen charity, Homeless Oxfordshire.

The walk will comprise a circular route from school taking in sections of the Oxfordshire Greenbelt Way and the Thames Path. The walk is 10 miles for all students as we would like them all to participate in a collective experience.

Homeless Oxfordshire:

Homeless Oxfordshire works tirelessly to ensure that individuals and families experiencing homelessness in our community have access to vital support, safe accommodation, and pathways to a brighter future. By providing crucial services like emergency shelter, outreach programs, and tailored support plans, they empower people to rebuild their lives and find stability. Your donation, no matter the size, directly contributes to providing warmth, safety, and hope to those who need it most, making a tangible difference in the lives of our vulnerable neighbours.

We have challenged each student to aim to raise at least £25, which collectively means we could raise over £25,000 for this fantastic charity.

Many thanks for your support of this event. Please leave a message if you would like to make a donation in the name of a particular student/s.
