Adrienne is taking on a mega 96 mile challenge 🤯
Both Adrienne and her late husband Derek have been directly affected by cancer, giving her the drive to do something special and make a difference in the world.
Alongside her cousin Karen, this brave pair's mission is to hike their way across the 96 miles of The West Highland Way this April! 💪
Adrienne decided that she wanted an opportunity to not only challenge herself but raise money for important Cancer charities that have done so much good, for so many families in the UK.
So let's help her get the recognition she deserves, and to smash her target!
All donations will be split between Friends of Anchor and Brain Tumour Research. Every little helps, so all donations big or small would be gratefully received.
Small Charity Week celebrates and raises awareness of the essential work of the UK’s small charity sector who make an invaluable contribution to the lives of millions of individuals, communities and causes across the UK and the rest of the world. At GiveWheel, we're proud to support charities of all sizes and the incredible work they do across their communities. Come and discover some of these on GiveWheel today.

What an achievement! ⛷
On the theme of freezing cold temperatures, team Adventure4Dementia completed the ultimate winter sports endurance challenge – Everest in the Alps!
An extreme uphill four day ski-tour, the team successfully ascended the height of Mount Everest on skis, whilst raising money for two causes close to their hearts.
As you can see, there were a few understandably delighted (and relieved!) faces at the top and the team is well on their way to reaching their £72,000 fundraising target - lets help them out!
Just another amazing example of what our GiveWheel community is up to!
How could you use GiveWheel to maximise your positive impact?
In January a team of 21 explorers undertook the challenge of Africa’s highest mountain – Mount Kilimanjaro!
One of the world’s Seven Summits and a colossal 5,895 metres tall, the expedition took the team through five different climatic zones, low Oxygen levels and a steep climb.
Hugely deserved for all involved that they exceeded their fundraising target of £25,000 and we look forward to hearing their next adventures..!

The last in our spotlight series today might be the strangest and only Viking themed fundraiser on GiveWheel.
108 miles. Backwards.
Six men from Llandudno braved below-freezing conditions to walk backwards and blindfolded from north-west Wales to Chester…and back again!
An extraordinary challenge that raised over £15,000 for 3 great charities!
If that wasn’t enough, for their next charity challenge in support of the Turkey-Syria earthquake appeal, the ‘Llandudno Vikings’ will be rolling chocolate eggs from the Llandudno Cenotaph to the paddling pool and back, using only their noses!
Just another amazing example of what our GiveWheel community is up to!
